Before You Fly

Travel restrictions change regularly. Unfortunately, our customer service agents cannot help you with queries about specific restrictions at your destination. You will need to investigate yourself.
Here is your checklist before you travel:

  • Ensure you have all necessary Covid-19 documentation to enter your destination country. Without this essential documentation, you may be unable to travel
  • Necessary Covid-19 documentation can include (but is not limited to):
    • Passenger Locator Form
    • Digital Covid Certificate (please be aware there is a wait time, often two weeks, before your cert is active)
    • Proof of negative PCR/antigen test

Please read carefully any Covid-19 information that applies to your travel by visiting relevant government-affiliated websites.
Each customer must ensure they travel with the correct documentation as failure to do so might result in denied boarding.

You can book a flight on our website or via our HelpDesk. If you prefer you can ask a travel agency.

FISCHER air does not operate connecting flights and cannot facilitate the transfer of passengers or their baggage to other flights (whether operated by FISCHER air or other carriers). For this reason, we cannot accept liability for any missed onward flights. If you book several FISCHER air flights on the same day, they are not considered connecting flights. You will need to pick up your baggage, exit the transit area, go to check-in, drop off baggage, and proceed to security and immigration again for the next flight. Make sure to have valid travel documents for all the countries you arrive in/depart from. Please allow sufficient time between the scheduled time of arrival of your incoming flight and the scheduled time of departure of your onward flight.

Currently, FISCHER air accepts the following payment methods:

  • Bank Transfer

You will receive a booking confirmation e-mail. If you have not received the confirmation e-mail, please check your e-mail filter settings and any mailboxes that hold filtered mail.

You will receive an electronic invoice attached to the confirmation email.

If you require a hard copy, please contact our HelpDesk. The invoice will be sent by post to the address you provided when making the reservation for a fee. Any changes you may require to the invoice are subject to fees.

We sometimes introduce promotional prices between the date of your reservation and that of your travel. Unfortunately, these promotions do not entitle you to claim the difference between the total fare paid by you for your reservation and the new fare.

When you pay with a credit/debit card, a confirmation page loads when you complete the booking process. A copy of your itinerary will be sent to you via e-mail. If you have not received the confirmation e-mail (Itinerary), please check your e-mail filter settings and any mailboxes that hold filtered mail. Your flight summary will include your confirmation code, dates, total fare, and all other necessary details.

You can perform changes to your booking via our HelpDesk. FISCHER air does not apply any HelpDesk charge, however, you may be required to pay a fee for your requested service.

Yes, you can. All change operations must be performed with our HelpDesk.

Our HelpDesk page contains all the necessary information to contact us.

Fees and charges will be applied to changes per our terms and conditions of carriage.
Some of our change fees are waived if you purchase a Flexible fare.

If you fail to pay the outstanding amount for the flight change, your new flight(s) will be cancelled, and your original flight(s) reinstated.

FISCHER air offers a free check-in at the airport. No changes are possible after check-in.

If you are a group of more than 10 people, you will need to make additional bookings. Each booking can contain a maximum of 10 people.

Yes, you may select an available seat free of charge during booking.

You will be able to select any seat on the aircraft, subject to availability and safety restrictions.

For safety reasons, passengers under sixteen (16) years old, excessively overweight passengers, passengers requiring special assistance, pregnant passengers, and passengers travelling with infants cannot be seated in an emergency exit row or a front row. We reserve the right to reseat passengers for safety reasons.

  • To book emergency or Front Row seats, you must be at least sixteen (16) years old and have a basic understanding of the English language
  • You must be non-disabled and able to open the emergency exit in case of an emergency
  • You consider yourself fit to do so and will be briefed regarding the manual operation of the emergency exit
  • Your hand luggage will have to be stored in the overhead compartment during takeoff and landing

We reserve the right to reseat passengers for safety reasons.

Since FISCHER air does not apply any charge for the selected seat, you will automatically be re-assigned to a new one.

Our team will consider your previous selection, subject to availability; you will be re-assigned to a similar one.

Infants up to two (2) years old may fly on the accompanying adult's lap for an infant fee. One person can accompany one infant only. Children over two (2) years old will not be allowed to travel on the accompanying adult's lap. The infant fee can be paid online during the booking process or through our HelpDesk.

We do not carry infants less than fourteen (14) days old on the flight date.

If the child reaches the age of two (2) years old after the departure and before the return journey, a seat must be purchased, and, in such cases, a separate reservation should be created for the onward and return flights.

You cannot be an accompanying adult for more than two infants. Only one infant can sit on your lap if you are an accompanying adult with two infants. The other infant must be seated next to you in a suitable car seat/restraint in a separate seat which has to be purchased.
If you need to purchase a seat for your infant, please contact our HelpDesk.

You can purchase separate seats for both infants if you prefer. If you decide to sit your infant on a seat, you must bring your own car seat or AMSAFE CARES (as long as it is approved for aircraft use), and a child fee will be applied. If you need to purchase a comfort seat for your infant baby, please contact our HelpDesk.

Yes, the adult travelling with the infant is entitled to carry two (2) baby accessories free of charge.

Children's baby strollers can be used up to the aircraft steps. After landing, the baby stroller will be available at the aircraft steps (provided local conditions permit this). Please remember to ensure that your baby stroller is tagged at the baggage drop desk or the boarding gate.

FISCHER air does not allow unaccompanied minors under sixteen (16) years old to travel. Children under sixteen (16) years old must always be accompanied by a passenger over sixteen (16) years old.

Please have a look at our dedicated check-in page, which contains all the necessary information on how to check in.

FISCHER air applies standard check-in times at the airport. Desks open two (2) hours prior to the departure and close forty (40) minutes prior to the departure. However, it can differ from airport to airport according to local regulations.

We suggest you arrive in good time; you could find a cue at the check-in, security checks, passport control, etc.

If you are travelling with baggage you need to check in; go to the baggage drop desk (you will find a dedicated fast lane for bag drop at the check-in area). Make sure you arrive with enough time to perform all operations before the check-in closure time.

To perform a baggage drop, you must be in possession of your boarding pass; otherwise, you will be required to pay an airport fee to print it.

(We remind you that if you are travelling to an extra Schengen country, you will not receive a boarding pass, and you will be requested to perform check-in at the airport free of charge.)

We recommend all passengers either print their boarding pass prior to arriving at the airport or access their mobile boarding pass on their phone in order to save time at the airport.

If you decide not to print it, please be sure that your boarding pass is always available on your smartphone and that you have enough battery for your entire journey with us.

If you are travelling within the Schengen area, you only need your Identity Card or equivalent. Passports and other international documents are also accepted.

If you travel to an Extra-Schengen country, you must have all necessary documents per local law requirements. We do not take any responsibility if one of your documents is not eligible for travelling. Therefore, you could be refused to travel or rejected by airport authorities.

Gate closes twenty (20) minutes before the scheduled departure time.

If you are travelling within the Schengen area, you only need your Identity Card or equivalent. Passports and other international documents are also accepted. Please be aware that the same document used at check-in must be presented at the gate.

If you travel to an Extra-Schengen country, you must have all necessary documents per local law requirements. We do not take any responsibility if one of your documents is not eligible for travelling. Therefore, you could be refused to travel or rejected by airport authorities.

Gate agents may require you to provide them with all necessary documents to enter the foreign country. If you fail to present them, you may be denied boarding.

The airport information screens will tell you which gate you must go to after check-in and security control. If you use airport check-in, the ground staff may be able to give you information about your gate location.

FISCHER air offers different bag options to fit the needs of everyone.
